Iraq is going through one of its most
critical periods. The dictatorship has overthrown by a coalition
international force for resisting the full and complete implementation of
UN resolution 1441.
For the last 24 years Saddam Hussein has waged a cruel and
repressive war against the Iraqi people. The oppression and brutality of
his regime led to the destruction of the democratic process of the society
and prevented the natural development of Iraqi civil society.
The war against the Iraq regime caused
further destruction and causes the death of more innocent people. The
responsibility of the war lies entirely on the dictator Saddam Hussein
because of his persistent defiance of the UN authority by not fully
cooperating with UN observers and hiding his Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Iraqi Reconstruction Group has been established to help and
support the reconstruction of the civil society and democracy in Iraq after the war.
